Join our 2010 Apprentice Program

Learn to tie a variety of fly patterns to select the right fly rod, reel, line and tippet to cast the fly line to fish various types of waters (i.e. streams, rivers, etc.) to identify the types of insects fish feed on (Fly tying tools will be provided ... or you can bring your own) Our 2010 Apprentice Program began Saturday, January 9, 2010 at St. Paul's Episcopal Church hall on Genesee St. in Chittenango, N.Y. and will be held each Saturday from 12:00 - 3:00 PM (unless cancelled due to weather or schedule conflict) through early April. The program is open to adults and to youth aged 10 and up. Cost is $20 per adult and $10 per youth to cover fly tying materials and printed handout costs. (Experienced fly tying instructors are on hand each session to help you learn to tie a variety of patterns, so you can get one on one instruction on differnt flies even if you find you can't make every session).  If you are between 10 yrs old and 110 yrs young and are interested, drop us a note thru our e-mail link on the "Contact Us" page or just show up.
