Chittenango Falls

Chittenango Falls

Where we are located

Madison County is in the center New York State. From our home we have easy access to some great fishing in the Finger Lakes Region, the Adirondack and the Catskill Mountains as well as Lake Ontario and it's tributaries.

Our home water is Chittenango Creek. The creek has good access and safe wadding, making it an ideal training stream for our Fly Fishing Apprentice Program members.

There are thousands of organizations, each with a specific purpose or goal. There are so many reasons why one should consider becoming part of an organization he or she believes in. By building an effective web site, we hope to get our message out to a larger audience of people interested in similar issues.

On these pages, we may include text and pictures of our members and the work they do to preserve cold water fisheries.

We stand UNITED

TU National

Trout Unlimited's Mission

Trout Unlimited's mission is to conserve, protect and restore North America's coldwater fisheries and their watersheds.

TU accomplishes this mission on local, state and national levels with an extensive and dedicated volunteer network. TU’s national office, based just outside of Washington, D.C., and its regional offices employ professionals who testify before Congress, publish a quarterly magazine, intervene in federal legal proceedings, and work with the organization’s 152,000 volunteers in 450 chapters nationwide to keep them active and involved in conservation issues.

We as a local representative of this national organization, work to support this mission within our community.
